Events and Important Auction Dates

• Nov 24, 2023:  Geese earliest hatch date. See rules for range. 

• Dec 1, 2023:  Market goats born on or after date 

• January

  • 1st: Steers latest possession date.

  • 1st:  Swine born on or after date.

  • 1st: Lambs born on or after date.

  • 8th: KJLA Committee Meeting -- 7:00 PM at Fair Office

• February

  • 12th: KJLA Committe Meeting -- 7:00 PM at Fair Office

  • 20th: KFSA Livestock Meeting -- 6:00PM

  • 23th: Roaster Rabbits born on or after date.

• March

  • 19th: KFSA Livestock Meeting -- 6:00PM

• April

  • 16th: KFSA Livestock Meeting -- 6:00PM

  • 20nd: Turkey approximate earliest hatch date. See rules for range.

• May

  •  1st:  Rabbit possession date for production does used to birth fryers. 

  •  1st:  Rabbit possession date for roasters. Must have ear tattoo, breed information and/or pedigree.

  • 13th: REGISTRATION EVENT! Aka: Ice Cream Social -- mandatory for all participants.  

Registration opens at 5:30 PM.  Welcome and general information begins at 6 PM, followed by a presentation at 6:30 pm.

Location: Eagles Nest Community Room. (Across the street from the Pavilion) 1195 Fairground Rd. NW., Bremerton, WA 98311

• • 15th:  Lamb, Goat, Swine must be in possession of the exhibitor date.

  • 20th: Turkey approximate earliest hatch date.  See rules for acceptable range.

• June

  • 1st: Tagging of the Swine, Lambs, Goats -- 9AM - 1PM at the Fairgrounds Swine Barn.

  • 1st: Duck approximate earliest hatch date. See rules for acceptable range.

  • 18th: KFSA Livestock Meeting -- 6:00PM

• • 15th: Chicken approximate earliest hatch date.  See rules for accaptale range.

  • 15th: Rabbit fryer ealiest birth date.

• July

  • 16th: KFSA Livestock Meeting -- 6:00PM

  • TBth: Livestock entry forms due for auction participants to Fair. Entries submitted online.

• August

  • 3rd: Fairgrounds Super Saturday: Return raffle ticket stubs and money, collect auction forms, scholarship applications available

  • 20nd: Haul-in of livestock --

Weigh-in of Steers, Lambs, Goats, and Swine -- 7:00 PM at the Swine Barn

Weigh-in of Poultry and Rabbits conducted in their respective barn.

• 24th: Auction Day!! Begins at 2:00 PM next to the Swine Barn.
